As a plastic surgeon working in private practice in Christchurch and Nelson, and in the public hospital system, I can offer you the benefit of more than two decades’ experience in reconstructive surgery, hand surgery and cosmetic surgery.

Your consultation may follow a referral from your GP or you may have made it directly.
  • Operationshttps://stewartsinclair.co.nz/operations/

Many minor operations, typically the removal of skin lesions, I can carry out under local anaesthetic (LA) at my operating room at the Naseby St Clinic in Christchurch, often at the time of the first consultation.

Look straight ahead and with your brow relaxed. Can you see a rim of upper eyelid above your lashes or do you have a fold of upper lid skin partially or completely obscuring this rim?  (You may have stopped wearing mascara because it smears on this fold.)  If the skin…
  • Lower blepharoplastyhttps://stewartsinclair.co.nz/lower-blepharoplasty/

If your neck is saggy then a formal facelift rather than a MACS lift is is appropriate. This involves an incision in front and behind the ear and into the scalp in the temple region and behind the ear. These scars are all very inapparent.
  • MACS lifthttps://stewartsinclair.co.nz/procedure-three/

This operation was developed by Dr Tonnard, a Belgian plastic surgeon. It involves a smaller incision than a formal facelift. I carry it out under general anaesthetic but it usually doesn’t require an overnight stay in hospital.
  • Philosophyhttps://stewartsinclair.co.nz/philosophy/

The practice of plastic surgery is a fascinating mix of cosmetic, functional and reconstructive elements. A procedure which some may perceive as cosmetic may actually have a large functional component (ask any woman who has had a breast reduction!) while others (eg facelift) are essentially cosmetic.
